F1 drivers supporting Schumacher

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

F1 DRIVERS from around the world have wished Michael Schumacher a full recovery as he lies in a coma after a skiing accident in France. Martin Brundle, who was Schumacher's team-mate at Benetton in 1992 and 1993, tweeted: "Let's hope Michael Schumacher's ski shunt is not too bad and that he's totally fixable. Hours later, when the full extent of Schumacher's injuries had become clear, he urged: "Come on Michael, give us one of those race stints at pure qualifying pace to win through, like you used to.

Fuel magazine films Ford designer Craig Metros in his Melbourne workshop

Tue, 06 Sep 2011

Australian auto culture magazine, Fuel, has created this beautiful short film, Factory 6, featuring an interview with Melbourne-based, Detroit-raised Ford Chief Designer, Craig Metros. The film explores the shared Melbourne workshop space in which Metros and five other designers work on a number of automotive and art projects in their spare time. It offers a great insight into his inspirations, his feelings on making the jump from Detroit to Melbourne and how it feels to have fulfilled a childhood dream.

The baby Cayenne has long been dubbed ‘Roxster’, but it appears it will in fact be the Porsche Cajun. VW boss Martin Winterkorn – who by default is now Porsche’s boss – has been giving Der Spiegel theĀ benefitĀ of his thoughts on all things car, and in particular all things VW.
