The pictures show the actual light that you are buying.  The light contains a working original style bulb that has been tested.  Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches across the face and is the flat face tear drop shape.  Based on the rare red lens and the color of the mount it appears that this light was originally on an ambulance or fire truck from the 1930's.  The lens and reflector are in very good condition.  The housing does have a few dents and dings with the most serious being the one shown on the left side of the housing.  The top retainer does not have the bubble level that it was originally equipped with.  I will attempt to answer any questions that you may have.  I ship within 2 business days of payment.  Shipping is free to Canada and the United States.  I do accept returns in the original condition within 14 days of your receipt of the light with the buyer paying for return shipping.

Renault Twin’Run gets 316bhp & pays homage to the Renault 5 Turbo

Fri, 24 May 2013

The Twin’Run is an extreme version of the next Twingo and manages to pay homage to the old Renault 5, with a thumping great V6 bolted in the middle and pumping out 316bhp and 280lb/ft of torque, enough to get to 62mph in 4.5 seconds and on to 155mph. The Nissan-sourced V6 gets mated to a SADEV six-speed sequential gearbox and comes with a limited slip diff to stop the tyres burning off when the going gets brisk. As well as endowing the Twin’Run with lots of power, Renault has also kept weight down to 950kg by using a tubular chassis, glass-polyester composite for the bodywork, lumps of carbon fibre and not a hugely laden interior.

Concept Car of the Week: Renault Racoon (1992)

Fri, 16 Aug 2013

As far as wacky concepts go, the Racoon surely has to be up there with the best of them. Designed and engineered like no other car before, the off-road and amphibious capabilities of the Racoon stretched automobile versatility to new levels. With its big eyes and smiley face, it has the same happy expression as its sister, the Twingo.

Holiday Motor Excursion rides again

“We can get there faster on the 210,” we told our piloto, Harry Hernandez, in whose 1924 Model T we were driving. “The freeway? What are you, nuts?” he asked.
