You are bidding on a Triumph crankshaft of the late 650cc era.  This one has the newer middle weight, but still retains the inch and one eighth journals on both timing and primary side.  It could be used on earlier cases but I am not sure if you would have to do anything or not to get it to work.  This one has a fresh, profesional .010 under grind so you would need .010 under connecting rods to make it happen.  Guys get up to $150 bucks t perform this service.  I should know!!  It looks a bit rusty but it is only surface rust.  Oil passageways are clear, NO TRAP NO PLUG included, but available for extra money.  Should ship CONUS for $30 bucks, maybe $80 or $90 for foreign destinations depending on where you is!  Keep in mind no matter how small I can package it, it weighs upwards of 20 pounds and that gets pricey at the post office.

Could the McLaren P13 get a Honda engine?

Wed, 22 May 2013

The McLaren P13 is due to arrive in 2015 and we’re expecting it to get a de-tuned version of the 3.8 litre V8 already found in the 12C (pictured above) and P1, and be priced to take on the almost empty sector (in terms of price) the Porsche 911 Turbo occupies - somewhere around £125k. It’s a sensible plan to fill a potentially lucrative sector of the supercar market with a mid-engined, rear wheel drive ‘baby’ supercar with performance of around 3.8 seconds to 60mph and stunning handling. It should give the 911 Turbo a run for its money.

Jaguar Land Rover Virtual Showroom

Wed, 24 Oct 2012

Jaguar Land Rover has developed a Virtual Showroom allowing customers to engage and interact with almost life-size cars. If you were at the debut of the 2013 Range Rover and new Jaguar F-Type in Paris last month you may well have seen Jaguar Land Rover’s new Virtual Showroom on display,  and it looks like JLR have big plans for their new high-tech way of exploring new cars. JLR’s Virtual Experience allows customers to interact with an almost life-size digital wall image of their chosen car, not just looking but interacting too.

The base Edge, with a 1.6-litre 102bhp petrol engine, is the cheapest Focus at £15,995, with the £25,095 2.0-litre TDCi Titanium X topping the range.
