This is a Used Original Shift Lever that was originally for the Vintage 500cc Triumph Unit twins. This may make some nice spare piece for a regular rider or racer or could possibly be the one item that was misplaced or destroyed from your 100% complete basket case. This will clean up for an everyday rider but will need to be replated for a real nice example of this shifter. Please note that all of my items are from a stash of used parts through the years. Fri, 11 Jul 2008The Vehicle Design Masters program at the RCA held its annual degree show a few weeks ago, showcasing an array of transport designs created by the graduating class of 2008. In all, 18 students - including three PhD graduates - developed projects which dealt with the current issues of accessibility, aerodynamics, environmental impact, ergonomics, legislation, materials, production, safety, and technology, as well as the aesthetic principles of vehicle design. Peter Stevens - the first MA graduate - David Wilkie of Stile Bertone, Alfonso Albaisa of Nissan and Peter Shreyer of Kia were just some of the RCA alumni in attendance.

Ford Transit van gets five-cylinder turbodiesel
Mon, 10 Dec 2012The full-size Ford Transit van that replaces the E-series Econoline in late 2013 will have a turbocharged five-cylinder diesel in its powertrain lineup. Today Ford uses the 3.2-liter engine in the Ranger pickup sold in international markets. The engine, which wears Ford's Power Stroke marketing name for diesel engines, is built in South Africa and will be exported to the Transit assembly plant near Kansas City, Mo.
