This is a Triumph GT6+ 1970 engine that I was going to use for my GT6 rebuild that I don't have the time to complete. This engine came from a good running GT6+ car. The engine has many new parts which include fuel pump, oil filter, timing chain/sprocket/ tensioner, front and rear cover gaskets, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, water pump gasket. Also included is both intake and exhaust manifolds. The starter motor and alternator are included. The flywheel is included. I am also including dual Stromberg carbs that have been refurbished which also include new tune up kits. I will also be including some other small misc engine parts along with new engine mounts.

The engine block was painted about a year ago with POR-15 engine enamel. I have touched up a few oil pan spots since then with high temp engine enamel. I have also touched up a few other parts that are included. Overall this engine is in good condition and well looked after. This engine would make a great candidate for a Spit6 engine swap or a GT6 rebuild.

I can help arrange shipping if need be. I normally use YRC Freight and get good shipping rates when going terminal to terminal. You are welcome to use your own shipping company. I am willing to put the engine on a pallet and get it crated up for no extra charge.

Tue, 08 Jan 2013

After a pitiful year of sales for Renault in the UK in 2012 (they plummeted 40% in figures out yesterday), the French are fighting back with a baby SUV designed to repeat the success of inhouse rival the Nissan Juke. It comes a day after local rival Peugeot announced its new 2008 crossover, another rival in this shrunken crossover/SUV contest. What's the Renault Captur based on?  Renault has so far issued only this solitary shady teaser image.
