The 350 examples of the SLS AMG GT Final Edition available are said to represent the ‘last opportunity’ for interested buyers to purchase an SLS before it gets pensioned off – perhaps in favour of a newer, smaller AMG-built sports car. And now its the turn of Lamborghini to let us know the direction they’re heading. To be fair to Lamborghini, they are already heading down a lower emissions route.

The deal for BMW to supply diesel engines to Toyota for Europe (and joint work on advanced lithium ion battery technology) makes a lot of sense. BMW’s diesel engine are possibly the best there are, and Toyota need good diesel offerings in Europe to mop up sales.
