These emissions/Pollution control parts were taken of a running 1979 CA Spitfire. The EGR holds vacuum and seems to work just fine and is very solid. The smog pump spins freely and seems to move air. I think it only needs a new plastic fan that goes behind the pulley to be serviceable . I have not tested it on a car. The air rail is in excellent shape not mangled or bent at all. Please look at pictures carefully to assess condition.

General Motors spending $131 million to upgrade Corvette plant
Wed, 04 May 2011General Motors is spending $131 million on its Bowling Green, Ky., assembly plant to prepare it to build the next-generation Corvette. The plant will spend the money on manufacturing equipment, specialized tooling and plant updates, said Mark Reuss, GM's president of North America. The plant will add about 250 jobs, which will boost its workforce by about 50 percent, to about 750 workers.

Mercedes-Benz SLS prepped to go GT3 racing
Tue, 23 Mar 2010Mercedes-Benz AMG pulled the wraps off its new race car on Monday in Oaxaca, Mexico, scene of a commemoration of Mercedes' victory in the 1952 Carrera Panamericana. The new SLS GT3 is a modified Mercedes-Benz SLS intended to meet FIA homologation requirements for the GT3 class in series throughout the world. While it's not known what the production car will look like when it starts going to customers either this fall--according to the press release--or "before the start of the 2011 racing season," according to AMG's Thomas Rappel, the prototype shown in Oaxaca had a full roll cage, a new front skirt with splitter, rear diffusers and an enormous rear wing.
