We'd call that the Super Bowl of microcar sales, but the Super Bowl happens every year and it's basically impossible to buy a Voisin Biscuter at the Super Bowl these days because of what happened in 2003.

As far back as Spring 2009 we reported BMW were working on a triple-turbo diesel, which we expected to see the light of day first in the BMW X5. It took more than two years for BMW to catch up with our story on the triple-turbo diesel, but we finally had BMW man Brian Watts confirming the new diesel, but that it would turn up as the M550d.
Future products: Mitsubishi turns focus to small, global cars
Mon, 06 Sep 2010Major updates to Mitsubishi's products are on the back burner as the company concentrates on developing small cars that can be sold around the world. That means the future is uncertain for the Galant, Endeavor and Eclipse and Eclipse Spyder, which Mitsubishi builds in the United States. A top priority is a global small car expected to go on sale here by the end of 2012.
