All years Triumph TR-6

Aftermarket racing front air dam spoiler

This came off of my '72 Triumph TR6. Looked great but was not correct for the year so the buyer did not want it. I think he made a mistake but, oh well. Covers up all that unsightly steering linkage that hangs down in front. To my eyes is very unsightly and this spoiler really tidees up the front end.

Has very small imperfections. In very good overall shape---NOT NEW.

Thu, 10 Feb 2011

Room for a little one? BMW X6 gets 5 seats It looks like VW’s decision to give the option of five seats on the Passat CC has started a trend. Well, hardly a trend, but BMW are going the same route with the X6.

Williams F1 sells Williams Hybrid Power to GKN for £8 million

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

GKN have bought williams Hybrid Power in an £8 deal Back in 2010 we reported on a flywheel developed by Williams F1 that recoups energy from braking, and was fitted to a Porsche 911 GT3 to give an extra boost of power. Williams F1 developed the Flywheel technology with a start-up company, which it bought out for £1.5 million in 2010, and now that company – which became Williams Hybrid Power – has been sold to GKN in a deal worth £8 million – and a share of sales revenue going forward – and is being renamed GKN Hybrid Power. The plan is to use the flywheel technology to reduce fuel consumption of transport that is constantly stopping and starting – it’s currently being used on a bus operating in London – and  Williams expect it could cut fuel use by up to 30 per cent.

BMW tii models are go

Wed, 02 Apr 2008

By Georg Kacher Motor Industry 02 April 2008 17:06 BMW chief Norbert Reithofer has confirmed to CAR Online that a range of tii performance options will be launched soon on the company's smaller models. He has finally ruled out a rumoured M1 version of the 1-series and said the tii spec would be the most performance-oriented model, claiming the the twin-turbo 135i was quite fast enough (it does 0-62mph in 5.3sec, after all). The tii concept shown at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show points accurately to the approach BMW is developing: performance kits for the 1-series coupe and hatchback, an aero package, carbonfibre details, fatter wheels and tyres, sports seats and instruments. There's even talk of a new M-style steering wheel with integrated LED rev counter.A tii for the massesBMW is the past master at offering huge choice in spec and trim; subtle nuance of alloy wheel size here, and Sport spec there is the stuff of workplace car park folklore.
