WE are a small independent British Italian and Swedish Car parts company founded in 1980. We had a huge salvage yard and have parted out almost 1,500 cars since 1980. Matthews Foreign Car Parts also has a Giant inventory of NEW, NOS, REBUILT and used parts. We moved are salvage operation to a 40,000 square foot warehouse were everthing is stored. We only keep about 15-25 cars around strip them down and label the parts and store them in giant rooms. The warehouse used to be a MEAT PACKING PLANT. And they’ve cracked it. In a two-way run at Elvington, Yorkshire, Lord Paul Drayson – Drayson Racing’s CEO and former science minister – was behind the wheel of the Drayson B12 69/EV as it completed two mile long runs in the space of an hour to record an average – and new World Record (for its class) – of 204.185mph.

But 48 hours is a long time in a 2012 season of tyres that dictate performance seemingly based on which way the wind’s blowing.
