NOS Ampco top cylinder oiler kit for all TR engines.  This is a period correct reliability accessory that automatically delivers a mist of oil vapor into the air/fuel mixture below the carbs, by manifold vacuum, to lubricate valve guides, stems, seats, cylinder bores and rings - everywhere the crankcase oil cannot reach.  As we are now forced to run dry, unleaded/ethanol gasoline in engines designed to run on leaded gas, the Ampco lubricator is especially beneficial.  Your TR will run quieter, smoother, and be protected from the negative effects of modern gasoline.  The Ampco lubricator will remove carbon deposits which can cause pre-ignition, reduce valve to seat recession, increase compression, and increase fuel economy by reducing friction in the hottest part of your engine.

The Ampco top cylinder oiler is made in the USA.  The nozzle supplied must be installed midway in the carb balance tube, and requires a 1/8" pipe thread to be drilled and tapped.  The nozzle can also be installed into the PCV hose using our T adaptor - please specify. Ampco lubricators can be fitted to ANY engine!  Over 25 carb plates kits are available.  The oiler nozzle can also be installed into a PCV or vacuum hose utilizing our universal 'T' adaptor.  Recommended Lubricant is Marvel Mystery Oil. Questions? Call 860-355-5706.  Check my feedback!

This is a cool, effective accessory for any Triumph, stock or modified!  These really work!  I will ship worldwide! Postage depends on location.

BEWARE - E15 GASOLINE IS HERE (15% Ethanol)! This can damage your engine!

Is the Jaguar XFR-S on the way?

Thu, 02 Feb 2012

Is the Jaguar XFR-S on the way (2012 XFR pictured) New reports suggest that the Jaguar XFR-S – a more powerful XFR with the output of the XKR-S – is close to production. Last summer we reported that a Jaguar XFR-S was being planned (actually, we also said a Jaguar XJR-S was in the planning too) in order to take the fight back to the Germans, with the latest iterations of the BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG now offering more power than the XFR can muster. The idea of a more powerful XFR wasn’t just wild speculation (or an educated guess as to what Jaguar needed to do to keep in touch with German rivals) but was also based on Adrian Hallmark’s comments that it would be nice to take the power upgrades on the XKR-S and extend them to the XF.
