This is a dashboard made by a master cabinetmaker and Triumph enthusiast. It is templated from an original dashboard on a nine ply Baltic birch plywood which is very stable. The veneer is then applied and pressed. The veneer is rosewood. The satin marine grade exterior polyurethane is then sprayed until smooth and flat, about 5 coats. Autonomous emergency braking mandatory in Europe by 2014
Tue, 07 Aug 2012Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) is set to become mandatory as a result of new European regulations. From 2014 Euro NCAP – the organization responsible for conducting independent assessment of vehicle safety performance – will amend its reports and no car will gain a five-star rating without AEB. It's hoped an increased use of the system will cut down on front-end impacts as well as pedestrian injuries.
Nissan Leaf Revealed – 3 more Electric Cars to come

Considering Nissan partners with Renault, and Renault announced something similar at Frankfurt, it’s not a huge shock toi the system that yet another car maker is going to churn out a range of EVs. First up is the Leaf, with Nissan aiming to launch an electric version of their NV200 van later in 2010.
