This is a dashboard made by a master cabinetmaker and Triumph enthusiast. It is templated from an original dashboard on a nine ply Baltic birch plywood which is very stable. The veneer is then applied and pressed. The veneer is rosewood. The satin marine grade exterior polyurethane is then sprayed until smooth and flat, about 5 coats. Wed, 16 Apr 2014The Ford Mustang 50 Year Special Edition The Ford Mustang is a very big deal in the US, so it’s no surprise Ford are producing a special model to celebrate the launch of the first Mustang in 1964. The Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition – yes, it does what it says on the tin – is based on the 2015 Mustang GT Fastback with Performance Pack and a choice of just two colours - Wimbledon White (the one in the photos) or Kona Blue – with either a manual or auto gearbox. Nods to the original design include chrome bezels round the bottom of the tail lights, a fake fuel filler cap on the back and louvered rear quarter windows.

But you do get a wondrous amount of technology for $375,000, the carbon-fiber body, a retractable rear wing and a compact V10 so fast that analog gauges couldn’t keep up with it. Add to that 553 hp, 354 lb-ft of torque and a 202-mph top speed, and we just had to put the LFA to the test at our favorite local racetrack.
