BYD F3 Surui
Fri, 18 May 2012The BYD F3 Surui replaces the outgoing F3 sedan, one of the most popular cars in the Chinese market. Based on the Toyota Corolla platform, the wheelbase of the F3 Surui has increased from 2,600mm to 2,660mm. While many Chinese manufacturers prefer employ well-known foreign design studios, such as Bertone and Giugiaro, BYD has eschewed that practice by relying on its own design team.
Top Gear Tonight: Burma Road Trip – yes, it’s Top Gear Christmas in March
Sun, 09 Mar 2014Wet in Burma in part 1 of the Top Gear Christmas Special Top Gear tonight – episode 6 of series 21 – isn’t actually part of the regular series twenty one (that was done and dusted with last week’s Porsche 918 Spyder episode) but is the first part of a two part Christmas Special Road Trip. Yes, March is a bit late for a Christmas Special, but it’s becoming the Top Gear norm. What isn’t normal is the fact that there are no cars for Messrs Clarkson, Hammond and May to drive, instead they’re all in beaten up trucks bought sight unseen from the internet for a road trip across Burma to the River Kwai.
Volvo V60 Polestar costs £49,775 – just 175 coming to the UK

But instead it’s going to be a limited edition special. That probably makes sense with Volvo busy updating their entire range, but it does mean there will be just 750 cars built, of which 175 are earmarked for the UK – the biggest allocation of any market.
