Trouble Light Vtg. 6 Volt Cigarette Lighter Jack Auto Car Accessory Circa 1950's on 2040-parts.com
Fort Wayne, Indiana, US
Vintage 6 volt automotive trouble light. I tested it by touching the contacts on the cig. lighter plug to the spring terminals on a 6-volt lantern battery. The bulb flickered on and off dimely. The lantern battery was weak and the terminals on the trouble light are rusty. If cleaned and used with a proper 6 volt lead-acid battery it should work just fine. Cosmetic condition is excellent. Thanks for looking! Tangible Treasure

VW Golf R 400 could get more than 400PS – which makes a bit of a nonsense of its name
Mon, 12 May 2014The VW Golf R 400 (pictured) may not actually be an R 400 The Beijing Motor Show last month saw the debut of the VW Golf R 400, an extreme take on the VW Golf R with a full 400 PS (395bhp) at its disposal. When Volkswagen revealed the R 400 as a concept we did note that it looked more production-ready than concept, and it took VW less than a week to confirm that the Golf R 400 was indeed heading for production. Now, just to muddy the waters a bit (or raise expectations), VW’s R&D chief Heinz-Jakob Neusser has said that when the Golf R 400 does arrive it could well be with more than 400PS.
VW Eos facelift (2011) first pictures
Thu, 07 Oct 2010The new face of the facelifted VW Eos is unveiled today ahead of its public debut at the LA motor show 2010. The design takes a modest step away from the 2006 Eos convertible, with shades of the new VW design language seen across the Polo, Passat and Sharan. There's a stronger emphasis on the horizontal lines carried throughout the new design becoming stronger and more obvious towards the rear: a new corporate grille complete with chrome highlights is joined by LED daytime running lights that make the Eos look a shade wider and lower than its predecessor. Yep.
