Top Race Performance clutch
covers are built from the ground up as a performance clutch. We do not take
stock/oem clutch pressure plates and modify them. All TRP
pressure plates are 100% tested and computer balanced. Top Race
Performance has been using state of the arc technology such as CATIA (3D
Design) and DEA (Finite Element Analysis) engineering, the most advanced design
and engineering tools are brought together to reach each customers requirement.
What we focus on the most is the Diaphragm spring, which is a key component in
a clutch cover assembly. They are made of hard steel and undergo a 6-stage heat
treatment process for high clamp load, which provides high TQ/HP capacity.
Using stronger drive straps and thicker rivets ensures that no breakage during
high acceleration will happen. All pressure plates are tested on our bench machines,
which simulate harsh driving conditions. We also check for proper release
and the point of engagement.
The Advantage of using our products is that we do not import from China or Korea. We are an actual US Clutch manufacturer who takes time to manufacture, check, and test every product for the proper release and right metal materials. Our quality should never be compared to other eBay "knockoff" brands. See for yourself.

The VW Group W12 engine will now only be made by Bentley in Crewe
It’s probably not something you’ve paused to think about much, but if you did you’d assume that the Bentley W12 engine – fitted to the Flying Spur and Continental GT as well as the Audi A8 and VW Phaeton – was made only in Crewe. But you’d be wrong. In fact, the W12 for Bentleys are made in Crewe but those used in the Audi A8 and VW Phaeton are actually built by VW at their engine plant in Salzgitter.

The Audi Q1 has been confirmed by the German car maker as part of its expansion to a 60-model line-up by 2020 – including a glut of which will be Q-badged SUVs. The letter Q, of course, is the designation for the brand’s SUV line-up, which currently kicks-off with the Audi A3-based Q3. While popular, the Q3 has never had the style image and leadership Audi has desired – like the RangeRover Evoque has managed – and is looking to make amends with its newest niche filler.
The rumour on the grapevine this morning is that Radio 2 man and Ferrari nut, Chris Evans, has traded a Ferrari to buy a McLaren F1
Chris Evans is known for many things; Radio 2 presenter, doting dad, one-time enfant terrible of TV, creator of CarFest and, perhaps most of all, the most high-profile collector of classic Ferraris in the UK. But the word on the grapevine this morning is that Chris has chopped in a Ferrari – and we don’t know which of his Ferraris – to buy one of the 64 McLaren F1 supercars in existence. If he has, and we’re digging for confirmation, then he’s obviously been listening to the advice a number of experts at the top end of the classic car world who believe the ‘next’ Ferrari 250 GTO (a car Chris owns) will be the McLaren F1.
