Ford Focus BEV (Electric) Frankfurt reveal

The Ford Focus BEV Proitotype has been revealed at Frankfurt Ford are intent on bringing an electric car to the market as soon as possible, and intend starting trials of the Focus BEV in the New Year. The Focus BEV has been developed to participate in the ‘Ultra Low Carbon Vehicles’ ( a real misnomer) demonstration next year. The Focus BEV is driven by a 100KW electric motor which is powered by a 23kwh lithium-ion battery pack developed by Vauxhall’s new owner, Magna.

BMW has released new images and a lengthy press release detailing the design process for the new 7 Series sedan, set to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October. We'll spare you the hyperbole here, but stay tuned for a Design Review of the Munich-based automaker's new range topping vehicle once we've seen the car in the metal in Paris. Audi S4 – new details

Audi will unveil its hot S4 saloon in autumn 2008 - and it's losing the V8 engine of old in favour of a new supercharged V6 petrol engine producing around 350bhp. Powering Audi's latest hot-shot saloon is a new-generation 3.0-litre supercharged V6, which will send its power to all four wheels through Audi's Quattro drivetrain.
