First Ferrari 458 Italia in U.S. auctioned for $530,000 to benefit Haiti

Fri, 19 Mar 2010

Auctioneer David Gooding donated his services and got the ball rolling at $250,000, which was more than the expected MSRP for the car of about $220,000.

Will DRB-Hicom – who bought Proton, owners of Lotus, in 2011 – cut and run, or will they see Lotus as a possible jewel in their crown to be nursed back to health?
