University Institute of Design presented their work in the annual Degree Show in June, which included work from the Masters programmes in Transportation Design, Advanced Product Design, and Interaction Design along with the final thesis projects from the Bachelor level graduates. Toyota recalls Highlander hybrid, Lexus RX 400h
Wed, 29 Jun 2011Toyota is recalling about 82,000 hybrid vehicles in the United States to fix a flawed control board inside the powertrain. The recall covers about 45,000 Toyota Highlander hybrids and 36,700 Lexus RX 400h hybrids from the 2006 and 2007 model years. Toyota says some of the transistors on the control board might have been improperly soldered and could be damaged from large current flow during high-load driving.
Audi A3 E-tron coming to select U.S. markets
Mon, 27 Feb 2012Audi confirmed on Monday that it will begin a pilot program for the battery-electric A3 E-tron in the United States. The announcement was made at the 2012 Technology, Entertainment and Design conference in Long Beach, Calif. The A3 E-tron is based on the successful Audi A3 hatchback.
