High Performance Cast Vinyl Films - You can stretch
them to fit the curves of your bike, then heat them up with a blow dryer to
last for 3-5 years depending on how you use your bike! Cast Films, also
known in the industry as premium, high-performance or 2 mil, are considered to
be a premium product with excellent durability and conformability
characteristics. The term "cast" refers to the manufacturing process
of this type of vinyl. Because the vinyl is cast on the casting sheet in a
relaxed state, this material offers very good dimensional stability. This
process also allows the film to be very thin (most cast films are 2 mil), which
helps with the conformability of the product. Material manufacturers recommend
the use of cast films on substrates such as fleets, vehicles, recreational
vehicles or boats where the customer wants a "paint-like" finish that
will last a long time, usually three to five years depending on how the film is
processed, and how you use your bike. You get what you
pay for with vinyl stickers... cheap ones, rip, fade, and peel off. The cost of shipping to lower 48 is included

Porsche Cayenne S Diesel (2012) first pictures
Wed, 12 Sep 2012Porsche has equipped its Cayenne SUV with a twin-turbo diesel engine, creating (no surprises here) the Cayenne S diesel. The 4.2-litre bi-turbo oil-burner puts out 376bhp and a rather wholesome 626lb ft of torque. That latter figures bests even the flagship petrol Cayenne Turbo: that car's twin-blown petrol V8 produces 'only' 516lb ft - and costs around £28k more than the Cayenne S Diesel.

Tue, 15 Jul 2014The Range Rover (pictured) and Range Rover Sport updated The Range Rover and Range Rover Sport both seem like ‘new’ Range Rovers, but that’s not stopping Land Rover from updating both models for 2015. Under the bonnet, the SDV8 gets tweaked to deliver an extra 29lb/ft of torque – now with 545lb/ft – and a fuller torque curve between 1700 and 3300rpm. The effect of that extra torque is an improvement of 6.5 per cent in in-gear acceleration from fifth to eighth gear and better towing ability.
Land Rover Range_e – Hybrid test-bed
Fri, 14 May 2010The Range Rover Sport based Land Rover Range_e Pragmatically, Land Rover are working hard to change the world’s perception of its products by shouting as loudly as they can about the ‘Green’ credentials they have, from off-setting carbon emissions to 45k miles on every car they sell to adding stop-start to the Freelander 2. But long-term Land Rover are looking to introduce new, lightweight cars in 2012/2013 with the same aluminium underpinnings as Jaguar, and introducing some hybrid technology on the way. With that in mind they’ve put together a Range Rover Sport based Range_e to trial the tech ahead of its use in the next generation of Land Rover’s cars and are planning on running five cars as test-beds this year.
