2. Corinthians 4. 3-8 & 17-18
3.If the good news we preach is veiled from anyone,it is a sign they are perishing.4.Satan,the god of this evil world,has blinded the minds of those who don't believe,so they are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News that is shining upon them. They dont understand the message we preach about the glory of Christ,who is the exact likeness of God.
5. We don't go around preaching about ourselves: we preach Christ Jesus,the Lord. All we say about ourselves is that we are your servants because of what Jesus has done for us. 6. For God who said" Let there be light in the darkness," has made us understand that this light is the brightness of the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.
7.But this precious treasure- this light and power that now shine within us-is held in perishable containers ,that is,in our weak bodies. So everyone can see that our glorious power is from God and is not our own.
8. We are pressed on every side by troubles,but we are not crushed and broken.
17.For our present troubles are quite small and wont last very long. Yet they produce for us an immeasurable great glory that will last forever!. 18.So we don't look at the troubles we can see right now,rather,we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over,but the joys to come will last forever.

No matter what troubles your in, they can seem crushing. Satan can easily place a veil over anyones eyes (heart,mind) ,to make people keep their mind and attention on things and circumstances of this fleshly world. It can be easy to lose hope in the darkness. God doesnt always present himself in an obvious way, but he is there,with His hands out to you. That is where the term "leap of faith" comes from. To the lost He can be difficult to recognize in our lives, and often times even to the believers. Seeking Him,hope ,and answers in your life is easier than one thinks. Im constantly amazed at how just opening the Bible and reading a bit ,how it can reveal hope and the answers we seek,because they ARE HIS words.  I remember ,around 12 years ago,(when I was spiritually lost) I was stranded, and homeless, somewhere in Nowhere New Mexico. A very small town I was walking through. There was an abandoned house I found and stayed the night. Nothing in the house at all. Out of curiosity I toured the house, and found an old King James Bible in the attic. Having nothing to entertain myself with that night, I read some of it. It was inspiring to say the least. The following day, I came across a small church in the middle of nowhere,and the Pastor invited me in,asked me about my situation, and not soon after bought me a bus ticket to get home in Georgia. It may not seem like a huge life altering miracle, but it was definitely a "seed" planted that would take years to even realize what God was teaching me.
I just pray in Jesus' name that this small message may reach even just one person, to tell you that there is hope in Jesus. No matter where your at,or what the situation is. He can remove that veil from your eyes and show you there is hope in Him and Him alone.
