A HIDDEN ANTENNA THAT REALLY WORKS...GUARANTEED!

The Tune Trapper Antenna was designed to be hidden and mounted almost anywhere: headliner, trunk, under dash, rear window tray, overhead console, behind seat, etc.. The TT no ground plane design works well on all vehicles including fiberglass cars, boats, and RV's where a good ground plane doesn't exist. In steel, only a minimum clearance of 3/4" is required - none in fiberglass. Most vertical whip antennas are a 1/4 wave ground plane. The TT is a full 1/2 wave helical dipole, wound with solid copper wire and requires no ground or power. Each Tune Trapper is hand tuned to FM resonance (88-108 MHz) using special instruments and individually tested to insure crystal clear reception across the entire band. The TT also delivers AM, Weather Band, and HD reception. Quality made in our Florida shop. Cable is 95% copper braided to eliminate EMI noise from wipers, fans, engine, blower, etc.. All connections are hand soldered for performance and durability. The unique, flexible and sealed housing is weather-tight, durable, and may be spray painted with non-metallic paint to match the interior. Center mount bracket with heavy duty 3M double side mount tape or lock in place with tie wraps. The TT2C is 24" long, 1/2" dia. with 6 foot of cable terminated with a standard male Motorola connector to plug directly into your radio.

Application Notes:

- A few OEM radios do not use the standard Motorola connector and may require an adapter available at auto parts stores or online. Please check the manual, if necessary.

- AM reception inside a steel bodied car can be a challenge because the AM waves are quite long (1000') and tend to ride the steel skin and not enter freely the way shorter FM (12') waves do. Many of our customers do get good AM but most have to locate the antenna close to a window to do so.

- We offer 3' and 8' cable extensions in our store. They are also available at auto parts stores.

Tue, 16 Oct 2012

The Jaguar C-X16 concept car has won Design Concept Car of the Year at the 2012 Scottish Car of the Year Awards. The two-seater concept – which acted as a teaser for the recently revealed production F-Type model – was first seen last year at the Frankfurt motor show and was designed to indicate Jaguar's future design direction. Collecting the award was Ian Callum, Jaguar's Director of Design, who said, "With the C-X16 concept, we set out to move Jaguar's award-winning design language on to the next generation, creating a car that is the very essence of future Jaguar performance." John Murdoch, association president, declared: "Many of these show stunners don't see the light of day but they are valuable for gauging public reaction to new ideas.

Kia teases new MPV ahead of New York Motor Show

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

Kia has teased a new mid-size MPV it will unveil at the New York Motor Show on Wednesday 6th April. The Korean brand insists its new people carrier will not only be able to transport eight passengers but also serve “as a purposeful offering for adventure seekers”. Why the new 2014 Kia Sportage moves the crossover goalposts Kia Soul review (2014 onwards) We don’t think lifestyle types will be trading in their SUVs too soon, but the people carrier is likely to be bigger than the seven-seater Carens, making it potentially a rival to the likes of the Ford Grand Tourneo Connect. However, Kia has already said we won’t get it in the UK due to poor demand.
