We developed the first Tune Trapper Antenna for our own bikes because we couldn't find one that was reliable. The
mini amplified ones didn't work well because they amplify the bad as well as the good, often use cheap materials
which can introduce EMI noise, and can overload the tuner.

Get rid of the ugly, inefficient whip antenna on your motorcycle. The Tune Trapper no ground plane design works
well on all vehicles - especially fiberglass cars, boats, rv's, and motorcycle fairings where a good ground plane
doesn't exist. Most vertical whip antennas are a 1/4 wave ground plane. The TT is a full 1/2 wave helical dipole
wound with pure copper wire and requires no ground or power. Each TT is hand tuned to resonance with the FM band
(88-108MHz) utilizing special instruments. It also handles AM, Weather Band, and HD. All connections are soldered
for durability and performance. The cable is 95% copper braid shielded to eliminate EMI noise. The custom and
flexible pvc housing is weather sealed for harsh marine use. Each TT is individually tested to insure crisp, clean
reception across the entire band.

Dramatic design on tap for next-generation model
Mon, 15 Jun 2009Jaguar’s next-generation XJ luxury sedan will incorporate design features from the C-XF concept first shown at Detroit, AutoWeek has learned. Although prototypes captured by spy photographers are disguised with BMW-style grilles, the face of the new 2010 XJ will feature Jag’s gaping square grille and a curvaceous body with a rakish, coupelike rear window. The final XJ incorporates slim headlights with double-projector lenses that are very close in design to those revealed on the dramatic C-XF shown at the 2007 North American International Auto Show.

Tue, 25 Jun 2013The Fiat 500L Trekkiing (pictured) is now on sale in the UK The Fiat 500L – Fiat’s 500 on steroids – went on sale back in December (and we’ve also had the 7-seat 500L MPW revealed), and now we get the rufty-tufty version of the 500L – the Fiat 500L Trekking – arriving in the UK, and costing from £17,095, just £700 more than the equivalent 500L without the butch bits. The 500L Trekking comes with Fiat’s Traction+, a clever traction technology that gives the 500L more grip on slippery surfaces, more rugged front and back treatments, bits of black plastic cladding and a set of 17″ alloys to make it look more suited to the boot sale car park than the regular 500L. Specification is based on the 500L Lounge – which means stuff like 5″ Touchscreen, Bluetooth, Hil Hold, electric door mirrors, Cruise, Climate, auto lights and wipers, electric windows and front fogs all come in the price.
