NEW FOR 2016:

CONTROL BOX MULTI-MOUNT SYSTEM:
A top mounted control box is not for everyone and we realize this- As a mater of preference, Tuff Stuff gives you 2 ways to mount your control box with our included 2+ additional brackets. This is done to help mount your winch control box either on top of the winch drum, or on top of the motor (to the left of the drum). By moving the control box to the side, you clear the way for the cable to stack up unevenly and not damage the winch control box. This feature is both aesthetically pleasing and very functional.

SAFETY SHUT-OFF KEY INCLUDED:
Included with our 2016 model winch is our newest and best safety feature yet- A safety shut off key. This eliminates damage to your winch in case of an electrical short on your vehicle, electrical system or winch. By killing the power to your winch, you're guaranteed not to have any electrical malfunctions to your winch while in use or not.

NEW TUFF-TEXTURE FINISH:
New for 2016- We will be using the new "TUFF-TEXTURE" textured black powder coating finish on our 2016 model winches, giving you that rough and tough finish for added longevity.

UPGRADED PLANETARY GEARS & CLUTCH LEVER:
GEARS-Tuff Stuff has designed our gear drives with a newer standard of gears with even harder, sharper and more precision cut planetary gear sets. No stripping teeth or auguring out the main drive under intense loads. Feel your clutch engaging when locking into place to alert you that your winch is ready to pull!
LEVER- Tuff Stuff wanted to give you a more substantial feel when locking your winch into gear- Gone are the days of the off shelf horn style clutch lever design. The all new handle design looks and feels heavy duty, and gives that rugged tough look too!

  • 2014 Audi R8 to drop manual gearbox

    Tue, 27 Dec 2011

2014 Audi R8 to lose manual gearbox It’s reported that the new Audi R8 – due in 2104 after a facelift in 2012 – will lose the manual gearbox option. It’s at least two years before the next generation Audi R8 arrives in 2014, but if reports from CAR are right then Audi’s next sporting flagship will do without a manual gearbox altogether. With all that’s on offer in the current R8 apart from the manual ‘box being the rather poor R-Tronic ‘box, that may seem like a recipe for sales disaster for the R8.

Opel Insignia Sports Tourer wagon spotted near GM's proving grounds

    Wed, 17 Oct 2012

Just like my parents used to say, “You can't get anything by us, we have eyes everywhere.” Ominous threats aside, GM's European unit Opel tried to sneak an Insignia Sports Tourer station wagon onto the roads of Michigan. Luckily our roving eyes spotted the car--complete with turbo badges--and sent some photos back to the mothership. A wagon version of the European sedan has been spotted on Michigan roads before.
