New Ford Mustang revealed for 2015: in pictures
Wed, 04 Dec 2013Ford chairman Bill Ford has unveiled the new Ford Mustang at the firm’s Go Further technology workshop in Barcelona. MSN Cars is here reporting live from the event, and far from the unveiling of an irrelevant American muscle car, the new Mustang is actually rather pertinent. Design Review: Bertone Birusa concept
Tue, 04 Mar 2003The new Birusa concept unveiled today shows Bertone returning to what they do best - a flamboyant showcar giving us a vision of how the high performance GT car (front engine, rear drive, two seats) could evolve stylistically in the near future. Based on a BMW Z8 aluminium chassis lengthened by 300mm, it's a refreshing piece of exuberance by the Italian company and a celebration of what they achieved in the 1960s and 70s. The wedge-shaped profile is characterised by a classic Bertone device - a dihedral-shaped side window with an undercut lower glass section, as featured on showcars such as the Boomerang and Carrabo.

It's a drop-top version of the company’s hand-crafted C8 Aileron and production versions are due early in 2010. There's a coupe version as well - which was unveiled at this year's Geneva motor show - and together the two cars mark Spyker's second generation of supercars after the original C8s.
