Used turbonetics T3 super 60. I am the original owner and bought it a few years ago for a turbo project on an old BMW. I've since gone to a smaller turbo as ultimate power is less of a goal now. It worked great for me and never surged. The bearing play is, as close as I can measure, well within spec. It does leak some oil past the internal mechanical seals, but almost all journal bearing turbos do that. Oil screen is still in place. It has never been apart. Uses a standard T3 flange. It has a 0.63 A/R turbine housing, and is not divided flow. Compressor maps can be found online if you're looking to spec one out. This turbo geometry came standard on the old Ford 2.3 SVO engines to my understanding, and seems to work well on applications between 1.8 and 3 liters, though that varies widely depending on the engine and the rest of the setup.

Peugeot 5008 HDi 110 Review & Road Test (2010)

Wed, 21 Jul 2010

The Peugeot 5008 1.6 HDi 110 Exclusive If you’re lucky – and you’re prepared to graft a bit to put money in the bank – your driving life until children come along can be fun. Sure, the first few years after passing your test will stretch your finances as you struggle to pay for insurance on anything more interesting than a G-Wiz, but get over that hump and things start to get more fun. With only yourself to please it’s easy to justify a V8 something or a sub 5 second 0-60mph anything.

Suzuki Swift Plug-in Hybrid at Tokyo

Thu, 01 Oct 2009

The Suzuki Swift Plug-in Hybrid Latest to announce their Eco offering is Suzuki, with the Swift Plug-in Hybrid. Principally designed to be an electric car, the Swift plug-in also has a small petrol engine which, when the charge in the lithium-ion batteries is depleted, kicks in to recharge the batteries, rather than drive the car. This is similar to the system implemented in the Opel Ampera and the Jaguar XJ Limo Green with the Lotus Range Extender setup.

Hey Craig Jackson, how did the auction go?

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

Plenty of people were surprised this week that the original Batmobile sold for $4.6 million* at Barrett-Jackson. And few were more surprised than Craig Jackson, the ringleader behind the mega-million-dollar auction in Scottsdale. The last time we spoke to him, he had estimated the original Batmobile to be worth somewhere around $2 million (later $3-4 million, as he now said).
