Nissan developing supercharged hybrid for Infiniti
Wed, 17 Oct 2012Nissan Motor Co. is developing a supercharged hybrid powertrain likely to arrive in 2014 in the Infiniti JX crossover. This configuration advances the system used in the rear-wheel-drive Infiniti M35h Hybrid but has been revised for use on the front- and all-wheel-drive JX.
Video: Ferrari F70 caught drifting at Fiorano
Wed, 06 Feb 20130-60 tipped us off to this short video of Ferrari's forthcoming Enzo successor drifting its way around Ferrari's Fiorano test track. The F70's V12 can be heard, though there's no evidence of the rumored KERS-like hybrid system. Ferrari tells us to expect a sub-2,500-pound curb weight, and we're also hearing the 920-hp figure bandied about.

Sun, 20 Apr 2014Chinese Grand Prix (2014): RESULT Qualifying for the 2014 China Grand Prix yesterday saw a much more level playing field than we’ve seen so far this year thanks to a rain-soaked track. But that didn’t stop Lewis Hamilton taking an easy pole (although the Red Bulls of Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel squeezed Nico Rosberg in to fourth place) and, true to current form, Hamilton flew away to win the Chinese Grand Prix and Nico Rosberg, after dropping to sixth place after a poor start, fought back to make this another Mercedes one-two. Hamilton’s drive was a crushing one – he pulled away strongly from the start and cruised to the win – but it was livelier behind.
