WHEN DO YOU NEED A FUEL CUT DEFENDER?
Most late model cars have in-built defense mechanisms to guard against increases in boost pressure. Such systems are important, but can be an obstacle when increasing boost pressure in order to improve the performance of your turbocharged engine.
WHY BUY A TURBOSMART FCD
Turbosmart FCDs provide a reliable and accurate increase in the factory fuel cut-out level. A Turbosmart FCD will allow boost pressure to be increased above the factory level and prevent momentary shutdown of the fuel injectors -- hence maximising the factory turbo system.
Part Number: TS-0303-1002
Description: The FCD-2 alters the output of a factory 5V MAP Sensor or AFM at an adjustable level to accurately raise the factory fuel cut point. Features LED indicators for easy setup. Adjustable release feature ensures you retain the safety of having a fuel cut to protect your engine from over boosting
NOTE - This Fuel Cut Defender does not raise your turbo boost. You need a boost controller for that. What this device does is allow for an accurate increase in the factory fuel cut-out level - which allows you to use your boost controller to raise your boost beyond the fuel cut-out levels set by the car manufacturer. This can cause engine damage if you set your boost too high. By purchasing this unit you agree that you know how to use this unit and hold the seller harmless from any damage you may incur from the use of this product.

2013 VW Beetle Convertible arrives
Thu, 04 Oct 2012The new 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible has been revealed ahead of a launch at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. The new Beetle Convertible is due to bow in at the LA Auto Show in November but VW obviously decided it was pragmatic to get an early reveal out of the way before the new Bug soft top trickled on to the Interwebs of its own accord. What we get is what we expected (although we did hold out a little hope the new Beetle Cabriolet would look more like the E-Bugster Cabriolet Concept); a convertible version of the 2012 Beetle with a pram style soft top that sits on the boot.

Breckland Beira: the first pictures
Tue, 03 Jun 2008By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 03 June 2008 17:18 Missing Marcos and wondering just what exactly has happened to TVR? Well your sportscar wishes have been answered in the shape of a new British-built two-seater called the Breckland Beira. Power (of course) comes from a 6.0-litre GM-sourced V8, but the chassis isn’t some hastily cobbled together tubular steel job.
