Potential Bidders please be advised that the items in ALL my auctions are physically located on the Dutch Island of Sint Maarten\Saint Martin in the Eastern Caribbean, therefore if you may become the winning bidder, ->Shipping will be done from Sint Maarten <- Please, do read explanation for this below the item description. Shipping cost as indicated is approximate and can only be determined exactly after the auction has come to a close and the buyers destination is known-I will ONLY ship from my location with Track and Trace, so please be prepared to pay a few dollars extra for peace of mind. I do NOT charge for packaging and handling, of course always prepared to combine shipping ! --- WILL ship WORLD-WIDE-no need to ask. --->If becoming a winning bidder –please do NOT use the PAY-NOW option but wait till I send the E-Bay invoice with exact shipping. PayPal is a great way of paying and getting paid for auctions, however there are certain regions in the world that are NOT fully supported by Paypal. PayPal claims to be working on expanding the network, however as it stands now, a PayPal-member in the Eastern Caribbean,-including my Island Sint Maarten- can only MAKE payments\Send money but NOT receive payments. Therefore, instead of Selling on my own E-Bay account-(but not being able to receive payments on my PayPal-account),I have opted to sell via the E-Bay account of my father whom lives in Belgium and has a Verified PayPal-account. This is not a fraudulent proposal but merely a way of working-around the limitation imposed by PayPal. No "fishiness" involved because not in a million years would I want to jeopardize my E-Bay-membership or that of my father. The Feedback obtained sofar stands at 100% and I will do my utmost to keep that so. If there are questions, please do not hesitate to bring them forward.

Mon, 16 Aug 2010The Porsche 918 Spyder in Monterey Unless you’ve been locked in a cupboard for the last week, you can’t have failed to notice that this weekend the car world – or at least the upper echelons of the car world – has migrated to Monterey in California for a weekend of basking in the beauty that is the automobile, which culminated in the Pebble Beach Concourse d’elegance We’ve had a couple of premiers from Jaguar and a crash by Sir Stirling Moss; the US has acquainted itself with the Bugatti Veyron SuperSports and the Morgan Eva GT got its world premier. And Porsche took the 918 Spyder Hybrid to Monterey to let the world see it – and to pitch its wares to some of the wealthiest collectors on the planet. Which gives us the opportunity to bring you a VT of the Porsche 918 Spyder on the move.
University of Cincinnati 2008
Fri, 15 Aug 2008Students in the Transportation Design track at the University of Cincinnati recently presented their visions for the future of transport. Most of the students were asked to envision a vehicle for use in the year 2030 in a studio course sponsored by General Motors; a brief which asked students to push the design potential of the Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra pickup truck or the Chevy Tahoe/GMC Yukon SUVs. Two graduating students also presented their visions for the automotive future, using the Volkswagen and Saturn brands as their launching pad.
Porsche 918 Spyder: The first ride in the future game changer
Mon, 19 Mar 2012Faster than the iconic Carrera GT yet more economical than parent company Volkswagen's frugal new Up supermini, Porsche's next supercar, the 762-hp gasoline-electric powered 918 Spyder, promises to offer the best of both worlds—scorching performance and ultralow consumption. Autoweek joins Porsche's engineering team for the very first test of the car that is already causing headaches in Maranello and Sant'Agata. For all of its intense promise and awesome potential, the very first running prototype of the upcoming Porsche 918 Spyder looks suspiciously like a refugee from a shadowy postapocalyptic movie set as it glides silently into view across the vast expanse of bitumen at the Nardo test track in southern Italy.
