VW Group planning 10-speed DSG, new powerful diesel engine & more plug-in hybrids

Sun, 28 Apr 2013

The end of the internal combustion engine is nigh, they say, as the world tries to clean up its environmental act and works towards a goal of electric motors to power our personal transport. While we’re of the view that the race to the top is largely academic (anything over 200mph is as good as impossible, even on derestricted autobahns), it’s still an eye-grabbing headline.
