2014 BMW X5 priced starting at $53,725
Tue, 25 Jun 2013The 2014 BMW X5 was officially revealed by the automaker about a month ago, but now the pricing has been officially released. The rear-wheel drive X5 sDrive35i starts at $53,725 (all prices include destination and handling) while the all-wheel drive xDrive35i will start at $56,025. These models come with BMW's 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six laying down 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque.
GM shifts gears, will keep Opel
Wed, 04 Nov 2009General Motors' board of directors has decided that it will keep the Opel business and restructure it, putting an end to plans to sell the European operations to auto supplier Magna International. GM said it expects the restructuring of Opel to cost $4.42 billion (3 million euros), which it says is lower than the costs associated with outside bids for the company. GM said it will soon present its restructuring plans for Opel to the German government and other governments in Europe.
