Twin Rajay Turbos Complete System For Lycoming Io-540 Smoh: 50 Bellanca Viking on 2040-parts.com
Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
The engine is already sold. This offer is for a complete turbo system (except control cable) that fits a Lycoming IO-540. I removed from my 1974 Bellanca Viking because I'm parting out my entire airplane. This is a great opportunity for any Viking owner to upgrade their 17-31A to the 17-31ATC. The system may work for any IO-540, but I'm not sure, so you may want to confirm that if you want to add to another airplane. I flew my plane last time for 2 hours in Oct 2013, to annual inspection. The turbos were rebuilt by Main, during my 2012 annual. So, the turbos only have about 50 hours of time since overhaul. Here is a breakdown of all the components and how pricing is figured. There are also expensive parts like the band clamps, which will be included. Turbo cable sold, so discouting $100.

2013 Ford Fusion Energi gets range of 620 miles
Thu, 17 Jan 2013The hybrid wars continue -- much less exciting than the MyFord Touch -- after the Detroit auto show, and Ford has thrown it latest punch: the 2013 Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid. The Energi is the Blue Oval's fifth electrified vehicle to launch in the past year, and will arrive with a total gas and electric range of 620 miles. That's 120 miles more than the 2014 Honda Accord hybrid and 80 miles more than the Prius hybrid.
Bosch, Aston Martin team up on DB9 hybrid
Mon, 17 Jun 2013German engineering firm Bosch has teamed with Aston Martin on a plug-in hybrid version of the venerable DB9. It keeps the 6.0-liter V12, thankfully, and is boosted by electric motors, for a total of more than 740 hp, according to Auto Express. Two motors sit at the front wheels, providing power, making this technically the first all-wheel drive Aston.
Ford CEO Alan Mulally to deliver keynote address at CES
Tue, 22 Sep 2009Ford is continuing to double-down on its Sync technology as a way to separate itself from competitors, and in that theme CEO Alan Mulally will again deliver a keynote address at the Consumer Electronics Show in January in Las Vegas. He's expected to unveil the next round of Ford's Sync features at the show, which is a bellwether event for the technology industry. He also spoke at last year's show, and former GM CEO Rick Wagoner addressed it in 2008 as part of efforts by auto execs to showcase new innovations in their cars.
