Twin Suzuki Df300 300+hp 25" Pair Outboard Engines Run Excellent No Reserve! on 2040-parts.com
Jupiter, Florida, United States
We have a great running twin pair of Suzuki DF300s available at an incredible deal. The listing and price is for the outer two 25" shaft outboards only. The starting bid is less than half the list price of a new set.
This engine spent most of its life trolling and idling. There are a total of 1,060 engine hours, or about 120 hours per year. Many mechanics agree that this is ideal usage for four strokes as the ones that are run regularly stay in better condition then those that sit. (4-Strokes have engine oil that lubricates the pistons, rings, etc--- That oil is only lubricating when the engine is running.) There are multiple Sea-Tow captains running DF300s with well over 10,000 hours on their engines. (They are still running them These are 2008s that were sold as new on a 2009 vessel. These have 25" shaft lengths... one is a standard rotating drive and the other is counter rotating. We will entertain all offers above the starting bid to buy-it-now. We are not including any accessories at this incredibly low starting price We can put these DF300s in an outboard crate for $120. We can arrange for shipping via R+L Carriers for our customers. We also have a boat transporter that makes outboard deliveries. The Southeast typically runs $250-$450. Northeast is generally $550-$850. We collect 6% sales tax for Florida shipping destinations and for local pickups. Feel free to contact Rob with any questions or to view the outboards. (888) 615-9198. |

Next Volvo infotainment system will look like an iPhone
Mon, 10 Mar 2014After more than a decade of disparate and clunky systems that have tried to force their ways of doing things upon our already-overloaded brains, it appears that smartphones and cars are finally going to be friends, after all. And by that, we don't mean that it's suddenly OK to text and drive. Rather, the infotainment systems in cars are finally going to have operating systems that mirror those of smartphones as they interact with your own phone.
Holden Calais unveiled, previews Chevrolet SS
Sat, 09 Feb 2013General Motors' Australian subsidiary, Holden, has revealed its new VF series Calais -- the rear-wheel-drive sedan that in top-of-the-line, V8-powered, left-hand-drive form -- will be exported to North America and sold as the Chevrolet SS. The new Calais sits at the top of what Holden describes as an “extensively upgraded Commodore” range, with right-hand-drive Australian sales set to get underway in June. The Holden Commodore and its more luxurious Calais derivative have underpinned General Motors' sales in Australia since its introduction in 1978.
