Lotus Evora – all new photos
Sat, 02 May 2009All new pictures of the Lotus Evora - to be launched in the UK in June It does seem to have taken for ever to get the Lotus Evora in to showrooms – it’s been coming for almost a year now. We did finally get Lotus Evora specifications and UK prices back in March, but even though the launch has once again been put back (from May until June) the release of these photos is clear evidence that finally the Lotus Evora is about ready. The first four-seater Lotus in an age (although it’s really a 2+2, and then only if you pay extra for the rear seats), the Evora has a mid-engined 3.5 litre V6 Toyota lump, fettled and sorted by Lotus to produce 276bhp.
Jaguar to build six brand-new E-Types
Wed, 14 May 2014Well this is a bit of a shock: Jaguar has announced that it is to start building the E-Type again, after production ceased in 1975. So much for the new F-Type proving popular… No, Jaguar hasn’t gone mad. It’s actually building six re-creation 'Lightweight' E-Types, with the aim of selling them to wealthy historic racing enthusiasts.
New Jaguar XJ: The Paris video
Fri, 26 Feb 2010Jaguar has produced a moody video of the new XJ in Paris Lucy Jordan lamented that she’d ‘Never ride through Paris in a sports car with the warm wind in her hair’. But if she ever had (apart from in her imaginings) she’d have realised it is – as many romantic notions are – a bit of a ‘mare. Smelly, noisy, uncomfortable and rather bad for your car’s paintwork.
