“Rare Buick Fireball straight eight cylinder engine that runs. Over head valves. 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor. Home made split intake and exhaust manifold. Factory or Edelbrock manifolds available here on eBay. Late model 1 wire alternator. Petronix Ignition. Mileage is unkown. Engine runs good and does not smoke. Oil has been changed regularly. Attached is a late model Chevy 700 R4 transmission that is in excellent working order. Transmission is attached with an adapter made by Benston Tansmission Ham Lake, MN. The adapter allows the coupling of the Buick engine to most Chevrolet Transmission. New Flywheel, Torque Converter, High Torque Starter. NO LEAKS. The transmission adapter sold for 1050.00 in 2010. This engine and transmission was run approximately 2 years in a show car and then removed. Both have been garage stored. BONUS... INCLUDED is another Buick straight 8 engine for parts. Volkswagen OKs production of the Bugatti 16C Galibier, report says

Volkswagen AG has agreed to fund production of the Bugatti 16C Galibier sedan, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing two unnamed sources that had knowledge of the project. The 16C Galibier would join the Veyron sports car in Bugatti's lineup. But Galibier production may not start for two to three years while Bugatti retools its boutique manufacturing plant in Molsheim, France.

Mercedes at 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed – includes SLS AMG Black Series debut

The Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series (pictured) debuts at 2013 Goodwood FoS In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend and car makers are out in force with their fastest supercars and classics. Mercedes always offer a decent show at Goodwood and this year is no different, with the UK dynamic debut for the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series, which will be strutting its stuff all weekend up the hillclimb. At the other end of the performance range, the Mercedes A45 AMG is also in action showing the crowds just what 360bhp in a compact hatch can do with its runs up the hillclimb.
