Higher speed limits result in fewer crashes
Tue, 25 Mar 2014Raising the speed limit can make roads safer, according to a study carried out in Denmark. The Danish Road Directorate monitored how driver behaviour and accident rates changed when speed limits on country roads and motorways were increased. Victor Muller on Saab escapade: 'Painful'

Muller defended payments he received from the automaker in a recent interview with me and talked about how he has moved on from painful memories of Saab. The Dutch entrepreneur rejected criticisms that his 600,000 euro ($773,000) annual pay package at Saab was too large.
