I have for sale two Maxxis M9209 ATV tires in 22x11.00-10.

One tire is perfectly fine with 90-100% tread left.

The other tire also has 90-100% tread, but the previous owner destroyed the bead belt trying to dismount it.

HOWEVER, it does hold air if you silicone the bead to the wheel (you can see I did it and it held air perfectly fine (and that's without a tube)).

If you can manage to sneak a tube in there without puncturing it on the bare belt, you're even better off.

I had these tires on an off-road garden tractor and they worked great. Note, though, that the bad tire dips up and down a little bit due to the broken belt.

The listing is for BOTH tires. The winning bidder will receive two tires in the mail. Local pickup available in 44601.

Vauxhall – Ellesmere Port jobs safe

Thu, 26 Nov 2009

Vauxhall's Ellesmere Port Plant will have no job losses It looks like the bulk of the savings that GM need to make in Vauxhall/Opel are going to fall outside the UK, with the news that there will be no job cuts at the Astra-making Ellesmere Port plant and around 340 job losses at Luton. Which is about as good as the news was ever likely to be for Vauxhall workers in the UK. Whatever the outcome of the GM/Magna deal it always seemed likely that Ellesmere Port would be relatively unscathed.

New De Tomaso Pantera at Frankfurt

Tue, 12 Jul 2011

What is thought to be the new Pantera leaving the De Tomaso facility So far all we’ve officially had from the new De Tomaso, now run by ex Fiat man Gian Mario Rossignolo, is the not particularly well-received De Tomaso Deauville at Geneva in the Spring. It seemed an odd route for the revived De Tomaso to go, and an odd choice of name. The Deauville seems to be halfway between the (poor-selling) BMW 5-Series GT and a Porsche Cayenne.

Driven: BMW 5 Series GT

Thu, 25 Nov 2010

It's an illustration of the place London has become that it's typically possible to park brand new or exotic cars on an average street and be met with studied indifference by the average passer by. So why, during a week of driving a BMW 5 Series GT, were we made to feel so conspicuous? Every time we parked in a busy area, at least one stranger felt the need to remark, usually to tell us how ugly they thought it was.
