Hyundai debuted its Hexa Space concept at the Delhi Auto Expo, where its claimed this design revolutionizes the use of interior space. Externally, the Hexa Space evolves Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture design language. While its lower body is reminiscent of last year's Curb concept, the more angular surface treatment marks a new direction for the brand.

Hong-ik University Design Degree Show 2004

Graduating students from the Transportation Design course at Korea's Hong-ik University presented their work in the 2004 Degree Show entitled 'Design Concert', held December 7-13 in the International Design School for Advanced Studies (IDAS) in Seoul. The works shown are based on a wide range of vehicle concepts and brands. The' Professional day', which is an annual event, was also hosted on the exhibiition opening evening with graduating students, professors and professional designers from the automotive industry.

A technology called HCCI improves fuel economy 15 percent and releases fewer emissions by using a combustion process similar to what is used in diesel powerplants. General Motors continues work on the project, which could be applied across a range of engine sizes and used with other advanced fuel-saving technologies to help the company comply with the proposed new mileage and emissions targets announced Tuesday by President Barack Obama.
