Nissan Hi-Cross Concept at 2012 Geneva motor show

Nissan made constant reference to being ‘owners’ of the crossover concept during their Geneva press conference. From the Murano to the Juke, via the Qashqai, rugged urban transport has been one of its big success stories (alright, maybe not the Murano). The seven-seater Hi-Cross Concept, premiered here, showcases some of the styling ideas that Nissan could filter through to future production models and also features a hybrid drivetrain and new version of its CVT gearbox.

Finished in gun metal Telesto grey and carbonfibre, Lamborghini’s lightweight wonder drew crowds 10 deep at its dramatic Geneva unveiling. Shorn of 100kg, the 1330kg Superleggera – Italian for ‘lightweight’ and pronounced ‘supahlejerah’ – has pulled the rug from under Ferrari, which will only unveil its F430 Challenge Stradale early next year.

2012 MINI Coupe arrives – in camouflage

MINI Coupe Reveal -ish We were going to say that the 2012 MINi Coupe had been revealed. But as MINI has decided, for reasons we fail to fathom, they should reveal it with camouflage we thought it would be a bit of an oxymoron. Still, MINI has revealed more about the MINI Coupe ahead of an official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
