Citroen DS5 – First video tease?
Fri, 27 Aug 2010Citroen DS5 Hybrid diesel electric – is the video below the tease for the concept? Despite our original scepticism (grumpy old man syndrome) that Citroen were intent on wrecking their history by cashing in on the DS tag – and badge engineering prosaic product with an iconic badge – we’ve been pretty much won over by the first offering from the upmarket DS range – the Citroen DS3. So we were happy to see Citroen pushing forward with the next in line- the DS4 -with its DS4 / High Rider Concept which we saw at Geneva earlier this year.
Volvo V40 Review: D3 SE Nav (2012)
Sun, 11 Nov 2012This week we have Volvo’s very promising new V40 in for review and test in the guise of the V40 D3 SE Nav manual. For perhaps the first time, Volvo are offering a serious alternative to cars like the BMW 1 Series (and the new Mercedes A Class) with the V40. Certainly on all the things that grab the headlines – looks, performance and equipment – the V40 seems to be a very credible effort from Volvo.
2012 Honda Civic 2.2-litre i-DTEC with just 110g/km CO2
Fri, 12 Aug 20112012 Honda Civic - cleaner, greener, more powerful & more economical Honda are taking the launch of the new Civic for 2012 properly seriously, and looking to make it a properly good alternative to stuff like the Focus and Golf. That means the 2012 Honda Civic is going to have to handle properly as well as being very well put together. And on that score Honda are promising improved ride and handling for the 2012 Civic (despite a less than cutting-edge suspension at the back) and say it will be more stable and precise. Which all sounds good.
