U.S. will guarantee GM, Chrysler warranties, Obama says
Mon, 30 Mar 2009In a bid to boost flagging auto sales, the federal government will pay for any warranty repairs on a General Motors or Chrysler vehicle if either company can't because of financial problems or a bankruptcy filing, President Barack Obama said on Monday. "Let me say this as plainly as I can. If you buy a car from Chrysler or General Motors, you will be able to get your car serviced and repaired just like always," Obama said in a speech.

But this particular piece of custom luggage for the Jaguar F-Type has been made as a one-off by French luxury luggage makers Moynat to celebrate opening their first store outside London. The F-Type ‘Trunk’ (and it will only fit the F-Type Roadster) was created in collaboration with Jaguar and is inspired by Moynat’s famous ‘Limousine’ trunk.
CDN-Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition Enters Exterior Phase
Thu, 06 Jan 2011Car Design News is pleased to announce the finalists of the interiors phase of the Car Design News-Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition. Pierin Giacomo of the Istituto Europeo Di Design in Turin, Italy, Victor Uribe, also of IED Turin, and Chiayuan Lu of Coventry University in the UK have been named as the top three entrants in the first phase of the competition. They topped the entries received from students at 36 design schools across 18 different countries in Europe.
