But at the same time, the tiny diodes are claimed to be able to light the road ahead for an incredible 500 metres. As we said back in June when we had the first details of the 2011 Mondeo, Ford has given it a few cosmetic tweaks to freshen it up and had a serious play with the oily bits. On the cosmetic front the new Mondeo gets ‘Kinetic-icized’ to keep its DNA in line with the rest of the Ford range.
