The facelifted Ford Fiesta features design cues that bring it in line with the latest Ford global design language and concept vehicles. The biggest changes are to the front of the Fiesta, where its trapezoidal grille has moved further up the front mask and is flanked by new headlamps with LED daytime running lamps, as well as a new 'power-dome' hood (ironic given the new 3-cylinder, 1.0-liter engine). Nissan NV200 (2012): London's next taxi cab?

The London black cab is being thoroughly rebooted, and it's Nissan who's challenging the dominance of the traditional black taxi. It's brought a new NV200 London Taxi to the capital during the 2012 Olympics in its bid to replace one of the world's most iconic vehicles. Nissan claims the NV200 cab will be cheaper, greener, and more user-friendly than the current fleet of LTI TX4s, and we may yet see a fully electric version join the ranks if trials are successful.

Video shows voice-to-text is as dangerous as actual texting

As we cruise through Texas A&M Transportation Institute Tuesday revealed that voice-to-text apps -- which read text messages aloud and allow users to respond using their voice -- are equally as distracting as manual texting. In the test, TTI had 43 drivers complete various tasks within a closed driving course. The drivers were asked to finish one lap completely free of cell phone use.
