I AM OFFERING FOR SALE AND ALMOST COMPLETE 351C MOTOR.  IT WAS BUILT IN 2005 BY A DRAG RACER BASED ON A STOCK BLOCK 351W.  RAN IT ON A DYNO AND PULLED 650-700HP. SINCE IT WAS GOING IN A 71 MUSTANG HE WANTED TO BUILD THE ULTIMATE 351C. 

FIRST LET ME START WITH THE HEADS.  I PERSONALLY PULLED THESE HEADS OFF 72 PANTERA IN 1987.  I COULD NOT AFFORD THEM AT THE TIME SO MY FRIEND BOUGHT THEM.  THEY ARE THE BANNED BY NASCAR FORD MOTORSPORTS E2ZM-6049-A3 HEAD THAT HAVE BEEN FULLY PORTED BT MELLINGS PORTING. FERREA 2.19/1.71 VALVES.  COMPLETE SPRING SET WITH SHIMS, WASHERS AND KEEPERS.  MISSING 8 OF THE 16 COMP CAM 1.73 ROLLER ROCKERS.  HAVE COMPLETE SPRINGS, KEEPERS, WASHERS, SCREW IN STUDS, SUPPORTS AND SHIMS.  ARP HEAD STUD KIT#254-4309.  INTAKE IS A VICTOR 351C-AH FOR 9.2 DECK HEIGHT.  VALVE COVERS OR OLDER TALL MOTORSPORTS WITH BAD CHROME.

FLOW SHEET FROM MEAUX RACING HEADS SHOWS 326CFM @.600 INTAKE AND 228CFM @.600 EXHAUST WITH 70.0 EXH/INT RATIO

CRANK IS "NOT SUPPOSE TO EXIST" NASCAR  FORGED STEEL BIG JOURNAL HX10089.  SOLD THRU CRANKSHAFT SPECIALIST IT HAS 3.750 STROKE.  INTERNALLY BALANCED.  NEED LIGHT POLISHING.  FEW FINGERPRINTS FROM HANDS.  COUPLE OF DINKS.  SHOULD BE CHECKED. 

PISTONS WERE USED IN A WINDSOR 9.5 BLOCK WITH A 6.3 ROD.  SINCE THIS IS A 9.2 BLOCK, 6 INCH RODS WILL NEED TO BE OBTAINED TO GET 377 CUBIC INCH DISPLACEMENT.

CAMSHAFT IS SOLID ROLLER CUSTOM GROUND WITH OVER 300 DURATION AND AROUND .630 LIFT.

FORMER OWNER WAS LOOKING FOR AN OLD XE NASCAR BLOCK BUT WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE ONE.  I WILL INCLUDE A SEASONED VIRGIN D2AE-CA STANDARD BORE BLOCK.  FOUR BOLT MAIN CAPS CAN BE FITTED.

WILL NOT SHIP.  MAY BE ABLE TO DELIVER TO SOUTHERN STATES FOR GAS MONEY.  IF YOU AUSTAILIAN GUYS ARE INTERESTED, HAVE A HOT SHOT DRIVER THAT CAN GET IT TO LONG BEACH, CA FOR $500.  THAT WAY YOU CAN HAVE YOUR SHIPPER INSPECT BEFORE YOU BUY IT.

But nothing rams home the abilities of a car, even a luxury SUV, like a long-term challenge; the novelty wears off and what is left is the inherent abilities to judge. And it seems Land Rover has managed to demonstrate just how able the new Range Rover is with the sort of towing job few Range Rover owners will ever undertake.

The Jaguar XJ Sentinel - the armoured version - will launch at Moscow this month Sentinel: One who keeps guard. An appropriate name for an armoured Jaguar XJ, although it reminds me of junk mail plopping on the mat from a company desperate to offer me protection  for my credit cards and keys. But that’s probably just me.
