A very nice quality low profile unstructured style black hat, with a set of wings on the front, and the traditional scrambled eggs on the visor. All done in metallic gold threads. Permanently affixed to the front.  Every pilot should have one of these in his collection. Wear one of these and let them know who is up front running the operation.

Quality hat is a one size fits all with a fabric adjustment strap in the back. Six panel construction and a pre curved visor.

Other color hats available are: Khaki, Navy, Red, Dark Green. If you desire a different color hat, (all available colors are displayed in our store) Just let me know on check out, otherwise the black hat will be sent.

1975 JC Whitney catalog: A bonanza of aftermarket Volkswagen goodies

Back before there was the Internet, or even big car-parts chain stores, there was the JC Whitney catalog. Printed on cheap, pulpy paper and featuring tens of thousands of tiny, hand-drawn illustrations, these thick books gave me many hours of enjoyment in the early 1980s, as I fantasized about how I'd modify my incredibly sketchy and hooptified '58 Beetle. Now I've picked up a 1975 JC Whitney catalog, and the Volkswagen section is even better than I remembered!

Horror crash drivers offered training course

POLICE who found enough evidence to prosecute 32 motorists following a 150-car pile-up have offered to send them on a driver alertness course instead. A senior police officer said handing the drivers a chance to go on the course would be more beneficial than putting them before the courts. The decision to spare drivers prosecution follows a four-month investigation by specialist collision investigators and case review staff from Kent Police.

Dacia has launched the Duster in to the European market Dacia is Renault’s Romanian brand and produces its own cars mostly based on Renault underpinnings. It currently offers none of its cars in the UK, but that could change with the Duster, although the initial roll-out doesn’t include RHD versions. The budget conscious Dacia Duster is Renault’s budget arm’s take on a budget, compact SUV.
