Pulled from a totaled 91si CRX. Excellent visual and functional condition. All controls/features work as they should. Yes, it includes the AC button and NO, the faceplate is not cracked around the hot/cold rotator. Includes the knob and cables.

The bad: The 2 mounting screw holes on the left side are cracked out (see 3rd pic), but there is still plenty of plastic left for the screws to grab into. You could always JB-Weld the missing remainder into place. A small portion of the lower ridge is missing (see pic 2) but once it's mounted in the dash bezel, you'll never see it.

Google continues autonomous car tests [w/video]

Google is leading the charge towards the production of a fully autonomous car, releasing a video earlier this week of the car being tested on a programmed route. Steve Mahan, who is 95 per cent blind, successfully tested the car with Google engineers and a member of the local police close at hand should something go awry. Google kitted out a Toyota Prius with its software, taking the shape of a spinning cylinder on the car's roof, which senses traffic or activity close to the car and automatically adapts to its situation.

Nissan's Resonance concept has made its world debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The Resonance concept, created by Nissan Design America under the direction of senior vice president and chief creative officer Shiro Nakamura, features the ‘V-Motion', which starts from the tinted acrylic front grille with Satin Chrome accents and moves through the hood, framed by the boomerang-shaped headlamps. A sharp character line feeds from the headlamps above the pronounced wheelarches before dipping and then flicking upwards into the rear lamps.

The first mainstream hybrid with a six-speed manual, the 2011 Honda CR-Z, will sticker at a shade less than $20,000 when it arrives on the market on Aug. 24. Honda announced pricing for the sporty compact two-seater on Tuesday, and a base car with the manual starts at $19,950, including a $750 destination charge.
