Nice used UNCRACKED and unrestored 1970 Mustang Mach 1 deluxe instrument cluster (Sorry no tach).  Bezel is very nice with no missing ears or mounting post.  Lenses were cloudy.  Spacers are good.  Wood grain not scuffed but little lighter in mid from sun ( camera could not pick up the shade shift).  Gauges were washed every time it rain.  Gauge faces and housing are very poor.  Should expect them to be used as parts only and not fixable.   Buyer pays fixed $25 to lower 48 states ground.   Will use plenty of packing peanuts.

Hyundai ix35 / Tucson ix launched

Tue, 25 Aug 2009

Hyundai has launched the ix35 / Tucson ix in Korea We reported a few days ago on the new Hyundai Tucson – the Hyundai ix35 in Europe – but we won’t get the release in Europe until Frankfurt, although there will be more dribbles of info before then. Still, interesting to look at the ix35 launch in its home market, where it will be known as the Hyundai Tucson ix. This is yet another car from Hyundai that will create a few waves of consternation amongst established names like Ford and VW.

Daihatsu's Materia supermini and, surprisingly, the Honda Civic trailed the pack with only four stars for occupant safety, but the Merc C-class, Renault Laguna, Volvo V70 and – impressively – the tiny Mazda 2 all came out with the top score.
