Yorkshire composer makes music from car sounds

Car Sounds Music by Mark Marrington Yorkshire composer Mark Marrington has created ‘Dance Music with a vehicular Twist’ in a composition using car sounds. Making ‘music’ from car sounds is nothing new. Citroen Launches DS3 Design Competition

Citroën's recently launched DS3 is already infinitely customizable, offering a multitude of options to enable buyers to personalize their vehicles. Now the French automaker is inviting creative visionaries to customize the roof and dashboard of the new car in an international design competition. Appropriately called the DS3 Design Competition, the contest is open to both budding and experienced designers – anyone wanting to offer their own unique interpretation of the DS3's roof and dashboard.

'Solid start' for car manufacturers

CAR PRODUCTION has made a steady start in 2014, according to the latest figures. A total of 128,620 cars were produced in the UK last month - just 0.3% down on the January 2013 figure, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. SMMT chief executive Mike Hawes said: "There has been a solid start to 2014, matching the strength of January last year.
