The Hyundai H800 India - a Tata Nano Competitor Hyundai are certainly on a world domination quest and are making serious inroads in to the quality market in Europe. New cars like the Hyundai ix35 are bring serious competition to the VW Tiguan and the Ford Kuga, and next year’s Hyundai i40 is going to give Ford a few sleepless nights over the impact oin Mondeo sales. Maybe that’s part of the reason for the Ford price cuts just announced.

Jaguar XFR & Jaguar XKR – UK Debut

The Jaguar XFR - together with the Jaguar XKR - gets a UK début at MotorExpo 2009 in June The XFR and the XKR will both début at the London MotorExpo 2009, which takes place in Canary Wharf from 8-14 June. Which is probably the best venue Jaguar could come up with (apart from perhaps Salon Prive or the Top Gear Show) as we don’t have a Motor Show any more. Still, the plus is that MotorExpo is a free entry event, which helps, and Jaguar are expecting around 350,000 visitors, which is not too shoddy.

Hyundai is showing off the new i30 hatchback at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. It's the first of the Hyundai-Kia twins - the new Kia Ceed lands in spring 2012. The i30 is Hyundai's C-segment Focus rival, and its replacement marks the start of a challenging new era for Hyundai; the i30 was the first car to wear the 'i' prefix, and its subsequent replacement means the company has come full circle.
