Having now moved away from the ‘Bentley Shed’ school of car design we saw with the original EXP 9 F Concept - which got huge criticism when it was revealed – to a much sleeker design that looks like a Continental GT on stilts, the new Bentley SUV will be much in demand when it arrives. And that isn’t going to change much with the 2014 Kia Soul, but this time the Soul gets based on the latest Cee’d and grows in size, so it should be a more appealing drive. With more modern car underpinnings, the new Soul should ride better and be more dynamic, with better suspension and a stiffer body shell making the Soul a very practical family car, but one which at least offers a little joy in the drive.

And just in time we’ve got a spy shot of the hot S7 out playing and looking pretty much production-ready; as it should if it’s going to bow in next week. It seems clear this is not an A7 with an S-Line pack as it’s sporting a pair of twin exhausts out back which, as far as we can recall, don’t appear on any A7.
